The trail starts from Santo Stefano Roero, at the heart of Roero Rocks - an eye-catching geological structure standing out among ancient woods dotted with centuryaged chestnut trees among which the over 400-year old Castagna Granda (the Grand Chestnut tree) shows off with its circumference exceeding 10 meters.
Once crossed the enchanted wood, the pathway steeply ascends toward Monteu Roero, atop which participants will have the chance to enjoy viewing Rocks from above. The trekking experience ends with a visit at an Arneis wine producer, accompanied by wine tasting.
