The track starts from Neviglie, a tiny stone village, whose church, dedicated to Saint Donatus, preserves an altarpiece by Macrino d'Alba - a rare piece of art dating back to the 16th century that, alone, makes Neviglie definitely worth visiting.
Crossing Moscato d'Asti vineyards, which turn from bright green to blond, from spring to autumn, the trail touches Mango, overlooked by its imposing stone castle where the Enoteca Regionale is headquartered, and then descends toward Santo Stefano Belbo, the village where Cesare Pavese was born, or Cossano Belbo, along steep mule tracks and among terraced vineyards.
